After completing my bachelors degree in psychology, I started graduate school to major in counseling. However, during my first semester I became incredibly drawn to holistic healthcare and the healing arts, particularly massage therapy. I then moved to Arizona and graduated from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in 1997.
Over the last 25 years, I have practiced privately and publicly - through massage establishments, spas, chiropractors, and within the corporate sector. I have worked with people of all ages, from all walks of life, and have experience with many types of injuries and disabilities. I have completed over 600 hours of massage therapy coursework, and am trained in several massage modalities ranging from light relaxation to intensive and specific therapeutic techniques (including pregnancy massage and massage for trauma and PTSD). I have also studied Ayurveda, aromatherapy and am a level 2 Reiki practitioner.
I believe every person can benefit from massage. Massage is good for the body, as well as the mind and spirit. Every person who graces me with their presence on my table is approached with pureness of intention, and appreciation for the ability and opportunity to help another human. I approach every massage with love in my heart, and absolute gratitude for the gift I have been given. It is my purpose and my pleasure to aid you in your relaxation and help you to find freedom from pain and discomfort.
